David is an angel investor, management advisor and business leader.  David’s advisory firm, Acrelic Group is based on experienced operating and consulting principals who are focused on Innovation, Strategy, Marketing, Rapid Operational Improvements, Sustainability and Organizational Alignment.  David works with leading global companies across diverse sectors such as Defense Electronics, Computers, Telecom, Software, Life Sciences, Energy, Networking, Bio-Tech/Pharma, and the Internet.

David’s career spans positions in Executive Operating Roles in large companies, CEO roles in startups, and strategic advisory roles to large companies.  He has also been a board member of 5 companies.  He has successfully grown business across 5 continents, directly engaged in more than 35 M&A transactions, and assisted in bringing hundreds of new products to market.  His consulting experience has also led him to evaluate hundreds of companies for acquisition, investment, or partnering.  David also has experience that commercialized several defense technologies which have gained significant market share and profit results and advised telecom carriers on their privatization and business, financial, and business process optimizations.

David’s direct industry experience comes from working as an executive for well known companies such as Telcordia, AT&T, Technology Financial Services, ABC (Disney), and Harvard University.  His clients have included:  AT&T, CA (Computer Associates), Deutsche Telkom, GATX, HP, IBM, L-3 communications, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Pitney Bowes, Prime, Raytheon, RR Donnelley, Siemens, Thermo Fisher, and Verizon.

In addition to his current responsibilities, David is an advisor to Signal Lake, a Venture Capital firm, and the Chairman of the Sustainability SIG of the Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG — a national organization of more than 1800 CMOs and VPs of marketing).

David graduated from Boston University’s School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration a concentration in Marketing.  He and his family live in New Jersey and enjoy global travel and being close to the beach and icy mountains where they spend their time at tennis, skiing, photography, fencing, rocketry, and their beach life.
